Scrum evolution and training

Put our talent to work

Scrum can be a great framework for collaboration in writing code and solving complex problems. As a development tool, it’s constantly evolving and growing. This means that, if you want to use Scrum effectively, you need to be able to evolve and grow with it. That means learning what you can about what Scrum has to offer and staying up to date with the latest developments and trends. So here’s the latest news on Scrum, to help keep you in the loop.

Scrum with Kanban

Kanban is an organizational method designed to improve quality and efficiency in a system. By balancing demand with the capacity to fulfill it, Kanban is able to reduce or even eliminate system bottlenecks. When it comes to coding and software development, it uses a visual system of process management to improve decision making. Because of this, Kanban is often combined with Scrum. As a framework, Scrum generally works best when incorporated with other systems or processes, and Kanban complements Scrum particularly well.

To that effect, a Scrum with Kanban course is now being offered by Scrum.org, to show you how best to combine the practices of both. The in-person course will be taught by professional Scrum trainers, who, over the course of two days, will show students how to integrate Kanban practices without changing Scrum, and how to use both to achieve more.

There are currently Scrum instructors from Scrum.org based all over the world. Before being allowed to train others, they must first go through a rigorous training program themselves, to qualify them to provide coaching, consulting, and more in the fields of Scrum and Agile.

You can find a public Scrum with Kanban course in your area or request a private one for your workplace. At the end of the course, you will be given an assessment test to achieve Scrum with Kanban certification. While currently still being developed, the assessment test is expected to be available soon to all students of the course.

Scrum and eduCBA

eduCBA also offers low-cost courses on SCRUM. The eduCBA model works great to bring a larger team up to speed quickly as all courses are online and are very reasonably priced.

eduCBA offers 100 courses on project management all available via web streaming, all in a single package. Geared towards all skill levels, each course comes with its own certification of completion. These promotions come and go, but this one may fit your ramp-up needs at only $29 a person.

These are just a few of the things currently going on in the world of Scrum, Agile and Lean. There are always new developments being made and new courses being offered, to help keep you at the forefront of software development.
